Rodger’s current focus is at advising and supporting growing start-up and early stage executive teams to achieve scalable and sustainable business offerings. He is the managing director at Archer BD. Inc. and is assisting companies in the retail, computer simulation, medical device, 3-D printing, water technology, oil technology, and engineering market space with growing their businesses.

Rodger served as a Senior Manager at Husky Energy, leading a high energy team to develop, patent, execute, and demonstrate a portfolio of new technologies that could provide a step change improvement for its thermal heavy oil business. He successfully competed, pitched and obtained multi-million government and internal funding for two major project initiatives.

Prior to Husky, Rodger served as President at Porient Fuels and Vice President Business Development at Quadrise Canada Fuels, with a focus on cultivating collaborations and relationships for business development in the marine fuels, oil sands, power generation, and refinery markets.

Rodger served as Assistant Vice-President and Business Manager in the chemicals industry at Marsulex Western Markets and Refinery Services divisions. He was responsible for initiating and delivering and six new product lines and the P&L for two businesses including leadership, strategy, staffing, engineering, operations, logistics, capital, sales, contracts, and service.
