Aaron optimizes current practices existing in the retail space, leveraging his unique ability to review data, see patterns and trends, and understand where the opportunities are. Having a strong retail background from owning grocery stores to running billions of dollars per year in total category management for large retail chains, he is able to assist retailers and vendors to compete in the retail world of tomorrow.

Aaron’s extensive experience in retail environment technologies, processes, and systems allows him to be on the cutting edge of Space and Category Management and execute winning technology integration and system strategies for building customers and market share. He is a top thought leader on merchandizing services and retail operations.

Aaron also intimately knows the challenges on the front lines from personally owning several successful businesses including a full-size grocery store, game shops, book shops and multiple computer shops.


Aaron has worked in Europe and North America training and developing systems for Space and Category Management strategies and systems development. As a consultant, Aaron has worked with both key retailers and vendors.

Aaron’s last corporate role was as Senior Director of Category Management in different regions of Canada for Sobeys Inc. Aaron was responsible for the sales and profit in the Grocery Department across multiple banners.

Prior to Sobeys, Aaron worked with several vendors, retailers, and other consultants to advance key initiatives. These included Just-In-Time programs for milk and dairy and developing fully integrated live planograms with category and warehouse systems to enable accurate forecasting.
